In-Water Survey
(ROV)

In-water survey (ROV)

AQMA Subsea uses underwater drones (ROVs) to carry out inspections of hulls (including rudders, propellers, thrusters, sea chests etc), quays, bottom inspections or the like.

Our ROV is equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors that give us the opportunity to monitor and analyze the condition. This makes it possible to ensure operational reliability and extend service life. During the inspection itself, there are options for direct transmission of video (live stream). With our experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and thickness measurement of hulls, we have a good basis for detecting and assessing any defects or damage.

The results of the underwater inspection are presented in a detailed report that includes our findings, as well as a summary of the necessary information. This gives you as a customer a clear overview of the condition and any measures that should be taken. Through our inspections, we can identify potential problems before they develop into costly repairs.

Advantages of using an underwater drone (ROV):

  • Safety: Can operate in hazardous environments, eliminating the risk to human divers.
  • Cost effectiveness: A less expensive alternative to dive teams and reduces downtime.
  • Continuous operation and versatility.
  • Advanced tools: Cameras, sensors and grappling claws for different tasks.
  • Environmental impact: Minimizes disturbance to marine ecosystems.
  • Live stream: The customer/class company can live stream the inspection directly from any location.
